I got the vishnu stage zero done to my wrx. ever since, periodically, the CEL clicks on with the OBD-II code for Cylinder 1 misfire. Has this happened to anyone else? is there a way to fix it? I think it might be something to do with crank pulley that comes with the vishnu. The P0301 code means that the cylinder 1 is misfiring or is randomly misfiring. Start by checking for intake leaks and if no leaks are found the next step is to replace the spark plugs on cylinder 1. I get massive amounts of misfire counts on one friggin' cylinder every few minutes/seconds. The counts go up to 18, then resets itself back down to 0. It's usually while idling or very light throttle, during WOT or heavy load times there's very few if any signs of misfire counts. Specifically there's a little memory address that records when the crankshaft position sensor logs a misfire. The data returned was interesting. (Update 1) I now have a cool graph of the results. (I've divided the RPM's by 1000 for readability) The misfires mostly only occur at idle, never when the car is above 1000rpm, think stop lights.

I have a 2003 wrx sedan, manual trans. I read the codes and it came back with 4 cylinder misfires, I changed the spark plugs to see if it would solve the issue. Before I did this the engine was a bit shaky but settled down a bit. I erased the codes bit still came back with the same codes. I test drove it and gave it same gas to see how it handled it and in the high rpm.
